THQ Nordic has announced the games they will be showing off at the upcoming Gamescom trade show. Six games will be shown alongside two brand new games, one being an entirely new IP.
The new IP will be an open world RPG and described to be ” a post-apocalyptic kung-fu fable”. Post-apocalypse is nothing new, but throw in kung-fu and this might be something interesting.

Remember Bugbear Entertainment’s Next Car Game that is now called Wreckfest? This racing game is the closest we will get to a new Destruction Derby game from the developers of the original two Flatout games.
Despite being a Kickstarter, then an Early Access title, Wreckfest have became really quiet in the recent months. Thankfully, THQNordic comes in to support the game’s development to a full retail release and will add more features which includes a career mode, car customisation, more cars and tracks and a dedicated server for multiplayer action.

Back in its heydays, THQ had one cool action-adventure property called Darksiders. It’s loosely based on the biblical tale of Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse with Zelda-like gameplay. It received one sequel, with a plan to at least have one game for each of the four horsemen until THQ bankrupted with no picking up the IP and the original development studio, Vigil Games, closed down.

Do you happen to have Titan Quest in your Steam library? You should be surprised that you now also own Titan Quest Anniversary Edition. This is not just a normal remaster, but the 10-year-old action RPG is getting some proper patches to make it work on modern PC, including UI scaling and replacing the now-defunct Gamespy client for multiplayer with Steam’s, and Steam Workshop support for mods.
