Bioware has recently released a statement about the future of Mass Effect: Andromeda, and it looks like it’s pretty grim as we all expected.
Update 1.10 will be the last issued update for the troubled RPG shooter with no more planned patches for the single-player. All story content will instead be explored in other mediums such as comics and novels. The end of Andromeda teased a storyline that could possibly be made as DLC, but it looks like that will not happen. Multiplayer will continue to be updated with more characters and content.
It’s unfortunate, but we all have seen the writing on the wall. Bioware Montreal has been scaled down from a full production [...]
The good people at Capcom have dropped a new trailer for the widely-anticipated Monster Hunter: World today. It features a new area, the Wildspire Wastes as well as a first look at some new monsters, on top of announcing the return of cool older wise.
Structurally, the Wildspire Wastes fulfills the mandatory “desert zone” requirement of every Monster Hunter game. These maps contain areas of extreme heat, which gradually drain health unless you stock up on cold drinks beforehand. The wastes also seem to have a muddy zone, the function of which we’ll get into later.
The main monster shown off is a returning Baroth. This large brute wyvern has a giant [...]
As I finally got my turn to try out Masquerada: Songs And Shadows, the developers handed me over a pair of headphones. This is surely to show off how well the voice acting, I commented. And with headphones on I went through the demo session which featured dialogue scenes and a few skirmishes to showcase the combat. Aside from one minor bug that an enemy was having pathfinding issues, everything felt really good.
It makes sense, since the game is already out on PC. The PS4 version, which was showcased at PSX SEA 2017, is also going to be out soon.
The biggest draw for me was how the combat works. It reminded me of Transistor at first, considering since you have four [...]
Remember when Final Fantasy XV showed the new invincible suits that resembled a bit like the suits in the new Power Rangers movie and it had to be redesigned and delayed?
Well, it’s out now and it looks totally different. No more colour schemes, they are now just ornate looking suits that would look in place with the enemy Niflheim empire. Fitting, since their whole army is powered by Magitek.
The invincible suits, expected to launch with the booster pack DLC, is now free for everyone alongside the new version 1.13 update. Here’s the patch notes:New quest(s) have been added to Meldacio Hunter HQ (after Chapter 8). A new ally cooperation system called [...]
One of the promised content for Final Fantasy XV’s season pass is an online co-op multiplayer mode. Game Director Hajime Tabata has spoken before he envisioned the multiplayer mode would be, with the inclusion of custom avatars.
To prepare for the online multiplayer mode, titled Comrades, a beta test will be conducted which is expected to run from August 3 to August 8. Only season pass owners with a subscription to PS Plus or Xbox Live Gold can join in however.
As expected, you can create your own avatars, and explore the open world with friends. There will be various weapons to wield- some with different attack patterns from how Noctis used in the main game, [...]
