Christmas in august? If you’re a good boy who pays for PS Plus, maybe. Ending a streak of chooseys is the PS Plus lineup for the month of August, with all sorts of great games to keep you both entertained and challenged.
Among the titles free this month is critically-acclaimed side-scrolling RPG Child of Light. Journey through beautiful worlds in this storybook-like RPG by Ubisoft as a princess from Austria who wakes up in the land of Lemuria. The game’s also packing some amazing music to listen to while you play, too, so make sure you pick up this artwork of a game while its free.
Are you planning to make it big like Pewdiepie? If scarecams [...]
Playstation Experience (PSX) is the annual Sony fan event held at Anaheim, California. Aside from the hype-induced announcements on their keynote (last year we saw the announcement of Uncharted: The Lost Legacy and Marvel VS Capcom Infinite), the event is open for the general public to see and try out upcoming games. Think of conventions like PAX, or something like E3 this year but more geared for fans.
Interestingly Sony is branching out from just making one PSX. They are giving some love to us gamers here in Southeast Asia with the announcement of Playstation Experience SEA. It will be a one-day event at KL Live at Life Center, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia happening on August 5. [...]
After a good few months of Chooseys with choices like Life is Strange and Tales From The Borderlands, Sony has finally heard our prayers and granted us the game chooseys pretend to be, Hatoful Boyfriend.
Play as a human girl in an elite school for birds, bonding with the various modern dinosaurs and, hopefully, falling in love. Choose a partner from the wide palette of birds like boring Ryouta to the objectively best bird, Okosan. The game is easily beatable in a day, but that’s by design- play through all the routes to get the whole picture, because choices in this game actually affect your understanding of the game. And remember: Bad boys love, too.
If you visit the Playstation Store frequently, you might notice how often there is a promo for a PS Plus subscription. From the good lineup of free games offered each month to deals that give you additional months of subscription (or sometimes games), there’s plenty of push to convince people to subscribe other than it being a requirement for multiplayer on the PS4.
Sony Interactive Entertainment shared with us yesterday some interesting numbers they are bolstering. For one is that are quite a number of PS Plus subscribers worldwide, the number being accurate by the end of March 2017. Considering that there are about 60.4 million PS4s already sold (also accurate by the [...]
Sony’s E3 press conference was definitely a weird one. While not on Devolver levels of weird, Sony’s was much shorter than it’s counterpart, Microsoft, as well as having barely any talking at all. And while everyone checked their prediction scorecards for anticipated games, I’m sure I speak for everyone when I say no one saw a remake of PS2 classic Shadow of the Colossus coming.
For those new to videogaming Shadow of the Colossus was a unique game for the PS2 that had you hunting down Colossi, huge monsters, to save a princess. All you had to kill these colossi were a bow and arrow, your horse, and a magic sword that pointed you to the [...]
