A short new clip of Mass Effect: Andromeda debuted on Nvidia’s keynote at CES 2017. Now that we have a release date, Bioware is going to share a ton of stuff about the highly-anticipated game, right? Maybe not so. With just under 2 minutes, it showed just enough of the shooting and new gameplay changes. It’s not long, but we do learn new things from it.

Nvidia has announced GeForce Now, a brand new sport streaming provider that aims to show any laptop into an on-call for GeForce gaming device. Following within the footsteps of offerings like OnLive and Gaikai, GeForce Now will allow you to release Steam and other gaming services on any pc—even Macs.
“There are actually 1 billion pc users with systems that aren’t sport prepared,” said Jen-Hsun Huang, Nvidia CEO, at the corporation‘s CES 2017 keynote. “Those are Macs or thin and lighting fixtures which have included pix without the ability to install discrete GPUs to make visuals come alive.”

The GTX 1080 is huge news – 2x the performance of the Titan X for half the price is no small boast. There are, understandably, a few annoyed Titan X owners out there, but it’s great news for everyone else if Nvidia’s claims ring true.
Not much is known about the lower-specification GTX 1070 card, aside from price, so I’ll mostly talk about the GTX 1080 here.
