Today marks a new landmark move by Flash Vision Esports. Notable for their contribution in the Fighting Game Community with players for Street Fighter V, Tekken 7 and more recently for the upcoming Marvel VS Capcom Infinite, Flash Vision is now venturing outside of the genre and has now picked up a FIFA roster. The free-to-play version of EA’s ubiquitous football game, FIFA Online 3, isn’t just all fun and games. There is a strong competitive scene surrounding it. There are also official esports tournaments, with the biggest one being the EA Champions Cup that is scheduled to be held from July 21 to 23 in Guangzhou, China.

More football clubs keep on joining e-sports. This time its Italian football club AS Roma making the move. But interestingly, they partnered with the established e-sports organisation Fnatic for this move.
The new FIFA team of AS Roma includes Sam “Poacher” Carmody, Aman “Aman” Seddiqi, and Nicoló “Insa” Mirra with Manager Colin Johnson.
The team will represent Roma in FIFA tournaments, while Fnatic handles all the management and e-sports know-how to help these players play their best.

From November 24-27, everyone can get access to FIFA 17 for free. More than just a regular demo, you get to access all in-game features, even the Ultimate Team mode.
