Have you noticed more and more gaming studios in Malaysia are contributing to big mainstream games, especially in the art department? Well, here’s a another one. Malaysian-based art studio Lemon Sky has been in the business in producing art for games and 3D animation. Games like Uncharted 4, Gears of War 4 and Dead Rising 4 had some contribution made from them. Their latest work is with Blizzard on the newly remastered StarCraft.
The post from their Facebook post has publicly announced their contribution to the remaster of the highly-respected RTS, with pictures of the credits screen of the folks involved with the project.

Construct additional pylons. The remastered version of the original StarCraft and StarCraft: Brood War is out now. With support for up to 4K resolution with more details in the graphics and sound of the influential RTS games, StarCraft looks better than ever. There is an ability to switch the graphics of the old and remastered graphics on the fly with a click of a button to see the differences.
Aside from that, there is also matchmaking and leaderboards for multiplayer, stat tracking for player profiles and cloud saves.
The remaster costs $14.99 USD (RM64.40) and still requires the download of the original game, now available for free here.
Well, this is awkward. Blizzard announced last year they will phase out the use of the Battle.net name. Battle.net was the multiplayer structure that powers games before it was a commonplace feature, but now serves as the name of Blizzard’s launcher on PC.
The name change was supposedly to get all Blizzard products a unified name- not every gamer today was there when the name Battle.net made sense. So they slowly phased out the Battle.net name and rename the launcher as the Blizzard App.

A few days ago there were leaks reporting two more spots have been secured for the Overwatch League, making the total count of teams to nine. The two spots are secured by one endemic organisation and one non-endemic non-organisation.

A new info drop from Blizzard pertaining the Overwatch League has details on what players should be getting once they signed a contract to play in the league. Blizzard has promised that players will be getting stability with fairer contracts, and it looks promising for now.
Players that sign the Overwatch League Player Agreement will be entitled for the following:Teams will sign players to one-year guaranteed contracts with the option to extend the contract for an additional year. Blizzard has finally broke the silence on what are the teams that will be taking part in the first season of Overwatch League, their ambitious take on a top flight esports league that operates more similar to a traditional sports league.
