Ubisoft continues to do free weekends for their multiplayer titles and this weekend it’s Rainbow Six Siege’s turn. You can play the game from August 25 1PM (GMT+8) to August 29 1PM for PS4. PC players start on August 25 2PM and will end on August 29 5PM.
Alongside the free weekend, Ubisoft will be doing a livestream of the Rainbow Six Pro League, their esports league alongside a full reveal of the upcoming update: Blood Orchid. This new update will add new operators (characters) and maps as well as changes to the game. Once it is dropped, it will be a massive update, but the it should make future updates smaller.
Rainbow Six Siege will be 50% off on all [...]
Brink, at its time, seemed promising. It added a lot of mobility to the standard stop and pop FPS gameplay that Call Of Duty popularised. It has parkour, an interesting setting, pretty decent reviews but unfortunately, never found a following.
And six years later, Bethesda is making it free. Yes, free.
While the base game is free, the DLCs are not. But then again the beefiest of them all- Agents Of Change- only costs RM7.20 with the others only RM5 a pop.
It’s surprising to see the almost dead multiplayer game just been made free. If you are curious about the game but never ended up buying it years ago, or just want something new to play over the weekend, [...]
The hype is real. Just in time for gamescom, Bandai Namco released another trailer for the much anticipated Dragon Ball FighterZ. So far new characters (or “fighterz” as the trailer calls it) have been revealed in Japanese magazines, but this is the first time we see them in video form.
Android 18 and 17 appear to be a pair of characters. Piccolo and his stretchy limbs is shown going face-to-face with Krillin. Android 16 seems to be the main baddie here- a peak into the Story suggests an invasion is about to happen. Developers Arc System Works have dabbled with story modes before, but not in full cinematic form as suggested from the trailer, which will be [...]
It wouldn’t be an Assassin’s Creed game without cameos from historical figures. And Origins will continue to do the same. Set in ancient Egypt, during the birth of the Assassins- within the game lore that is- expect to come across the Cleopatra and Julius Cesar as you journey through the game as Bayek.
Check out the cinematic trailer below:
Not too shabby.
Origins will see a few shake-ups to the Assassin’s Creed formula, including RPG elements such as level progression and loot gear alongside a revamped combat system.
Assassin’s Creed Origins will be out really soon- October 27 for the PS4, PC and Xbox One.
THQ Nordic teased that a new IP was in the works, one was pitched as a “post-apocalyptic Kung-Fu RPG”. As silly as it sounds, the new game in question, Biomutant, seems neat.
Developed by Experiment 101- a new studio made up of former developers of the Just Cause series, BioMutant allows you to customise your hero with “various mutations, bionic prosthetics and weapons”.
While the cinematic announcement trailer feature a cute furry animal as its star, you can add wings, have claws or add robotic parts, each will impact how you battle.
It will also feature “mechs, paragliders, balloons, mounts, jet skis and more.” Expect an [...]
Shenmue was critically lauded when it first arrived on the Sega Dreamcast 18 years ago. It was one of the first games that featured a detailed open world as well as a strong narrative hook. The original game and its sequel didn’t do well commercially however, leaving the story hanging without closure. Unless you count Mega64’s silly video as official canon.
Then E3 2015 came and Sony unveiled the biggest, hypest bombshell of an announcement imaginable- one of them being Shenmue III. It had to be Kickstarted first, but there were enough fans to make it happen, racking up over $6,000,000 USD worth of funding.
After two years, the team at Ys Net has now [...]
